Under the following [borlabs-cookie type=”btn-cookie-preference” title=”Link”/] you can see and change your cookie settings for this Website.

In some cases, however, these cookies provide information to automatically recognize you. This recognition is based on the IP address stored in the cookies. This also applies in part to our partner companies/advertising partners (third-party cookies), which help to make our website more interesting. Information on third-party cookies is provided below in individual paragraphs.

You can decide on the use of cookies yourself; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of our website to their full extent.

On our website we offer you the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter. With this newsletter we inform you at regular intervals about products, news, offers/promotions, raffles, etc. To receive our newsletter, you need a valid e-mail address. We will check the e-mail address you have entered to ensure that you are actually the owner of the e-mail address provided or that the owner is authorized to receive the newsletter. This happens via an opt-in procedure, in which you will receive an e-mail with a confirmation link to confirm the specified e-mail address. E-mail newsletters are only sent after the confirmation link has been activated.

With your registration to our newsletter, we will save your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This serves as a safeguard on our part in the event that a third party misuses your e-mail address and subscribes to our newsletter without your knowledge. No other data is collected on our part. In the event that you have provided us with your e-mail address as part of a purchase of goods or services, we reserve the right to regularly send information on offers that are similar to the purchased goods or services. This data processing is based on the legitimate interest in personalized direct advertising pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If the processing of the e-mail address for this purpose was previously objected to, the sending of such newsletters will be discontinued. 7. Web analytics services

7.1 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter “Google”, on our website. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site.

The information generated by these cookies, for example time, place and frequency of your website visit including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the USA and stored there.

We use Google Analytics with an IP anonymization function on our website. In this case, your IP address will already be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and thus anonymized.

Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.

Google will, according to its own information, in no case associate your IP address with other Google data. However, no data will be transferred to Google Analytics without your explicit consent.

With your consent to use this service, you also consent to the processing of your data in the USA in accordance with Art. 49 (1) lit. a DSGVO. The ECJ classifies the USA as a country with insufficient data protection according to EU standards. For example, there is a risk that U.S. authorities process personal data in surveillance programs without an existing possibility of legal action for Europeans.

Furthermore, Google offers a deactivation option for the most common browsers, which gives you more control over what data is collected and processed by Google. Should you activate this option, no website visit information will be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, activation does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analytics services we may use. For more information on the deactivation option provided by Google, as well as how to activate this option, please click on the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Alternatively, there is the option to click on the following link to set an “opt-out cookie”. This causes that a collection and processing by Google Analytics will be omitted in the future. It should be noted that this opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for this domain. As soon as you delete the cookies in your browser, this link must be clicked again

7.2 Facebook Pixel

We use Facebook Pixel on our website, a service of Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are a resident of the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.

With the help of the Facebook pixel, it is possible for Facebook to determine the visitors to our website as a target group for the display of advertisements, so-called “Facebook ads”. Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our offers. In other words, with the help of the Facebook pixel, we want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a harassing effect. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can further track the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad.

The Facebook pixel is directly integrated by Facebook when our website is called up and can save a so-called cookie, i.e. a small file, on your device. If you subsequently log in to Facebook or visit Facebook while logged in, your visit to our website will be noted in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous for us, so it does not offer us any conclusions about your identity. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible. The processing of the data by Facebook takes place within the framework of Facebook’s data usage policy.

Accordingly, you can find more information on how the remarketing pixel works and generally how Facebook ads are displayed, in Facebook’s data usage policy: www.facebook.com/policy.php.

You can object to the collection by the Facebook pixel and use of your data for the display of Facebook ads. To do so, you can visit the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions there on the settings for usage-based advertising: www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or declare the objection via the US page www.aboutads.info/choices or the EU page www.youronlinechoices.com. The settings are made platform-independent, i.e. they are applied to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.
